Today we'll be opening the A.R.C. Sports Store with all new Comme Des Garcons products. Headlining the new items is the Comme Des Garcons X Converse. We have both high tops and low tops in and in very limited quantities. Along with the new shoes we'll also be filling the store with new Comme Des Garcons Play polos and t-shirts. Be sure to come by the store today to get your size before we sell out.
“Converse announces its Comme des Garcons PLAY for Converse collection. A follow up to the Converse Spring 2007 collaboration with Junya Watanabe Man, Comme des Garcon's Rei Kawakubo worked closely with Converse to create the four styles in the series. Borrowing a silhouette from a 1950's vintage Chuck Taylor All Star model that was originally produced for the US military in the 1950's, the cotton canvas shoes feature unique, high rands and ultra-premium construction details and a hand-crafted feel. Converse has a long history of being on the feet of those who have chosen to disrupt the status-quo and as one of fashion's most innovative designers world-renowned for its avant-garde style, Comme des Garcons was a natural choice for a Converse collaboration.”
